    In their second trade in the 24 hours leading up to the trade deadline, the Colorado Avalanche have sent forward Casey Mittelstadt, forward prospect Will Zellers, and a 2nd round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft to the Boston Bruins. In exchange, the Bruins have sent back forward Charlie Coyle and a 5th round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.

    In the midst of his seventh season with the Boston Bruins, Charlie Coyle has recorded 22 points (15 goals/7 assists) in 64 games played. The 33-year-old forward has tallied a total of 472 points in 931 games played between the Bruins and the Minnesota Wild.

    According to Daily Faceoff, he played second line minutes in Boston, on the right wing with Elias Lindholm and former Avalanche prospect Riley Tufte.
