The Colorado Avalanche just dropped a seriously good-looking Hometown Remix jersey, featuring icy blue and white colors, mountain-inspired details, and plenty of Mile High pride.
There’s something about a Colorado Avalanche jersey that just hits differently when it brings a little bit of the state’s identity into the mix.
The new Hometown Remix jersey does exactly that, and honestly, it’s one of those designs that Avs fans are going to want to take a closer look at. Rather than going with a traditional look, this one puts a fresh spin on the team’s colors while paying tribute to the place the Avalanche call home.
The first thing that jumps out for me is the white and blue combination. The state hasn't exactly gotten a lot of snow lately. Thank you climate change. Nonetheless, it looks rad. The large Avalanche crest takes center stage, with some seriously cool detailing that gives it more personality than your everyday logo. There’s also plenty happening around the sleeves and shoulders, where the mountain-inspired design helps bring the entire look together.
The silver accents are another nice touch. They break up the blue and white without making things feel too busy, and they give the jersey a little extra pop when you see it up close. I can't draw to save my life, but I've always appreciated everyone else's art. This passes the eye test.
What I really like about this jersey is that it doesn't feel like someone simply changed a few colors and called it a day. There's a clear Colorado influence throughout, and it gives the piece its own identity while still keeping the Avalanche front and center.
For Avs fans, this is a pretty fun addition to the jersey lineup. Whether you're wearing it to Ball Arena, throwing it on for a watch party, or adding it to a growing collection, there's a lot to appreciate here. It's different, it's got personality, and it definitely feels like something made with Colorado pride in mind.
