
Colorado's elite center has earned at least a point in every home game since the season began.

Nathan MacKinnon earned an assist on the first goal of the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, which extended his home point scoring streak to 28 games. He added another assist on the second goal from Andrew Cogliano.
The 28-year-old center is averaging 2.07 points-per-game on home ice this season. Only Connor McDavid (2.11 in 2020-21), Mario Lemieux (2.60 in 1995-96) and Jaromir Jagr (2.02 in 1995-96) earned at least two points-per-game at home (min. 25 games played) over the last 30 years.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia native is now tied for the sixth spot on the longest home point scoring streak list in NHL history and sits behind Wayne Gretzky in the No. 2 spot for longest home point scoring streak from season start.
MacKinnon has been in a points race with Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov who, as of Saturday evening, has 98. He holds the No. 3 spot for assists with 60 — behind Kucherov (61) and Connor McDavid (66).
According to the NHL, this is MacKinnon's second career 60-assist season (69 in 2022-23). The only players in team history to have as many are Peter Forsberg (5) and Joe Sakic (3).
