Jordan Dumais was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft.

The much anticipated pro debut of Jordan Dumais finally happened last night, when the Cleveland Monsters played the Providence Bruins.

In his first pro game, Dumais played on a line with veterans Stefan Matteau and Joseph Labate. Dumais was able to log one shot on goal and got his first AHL point when he earned an assist on Matteau's first goal of the season.

Now that Jordan Dumais has made his debut, look for the "Pit Viper" to start making a name for himself and piling up the points.

Goalie Jet Greaves lost the game last night against Providence to move his record to 12-7-4-2 and has a SV% of .909.

Greaves also set a couple of franchise records last night. He already owns the Monsters record for wins, which he set at the end of last year. Last night he set a new franchise record for games played with 143, passing Calvin Pickard. He also passed Pickard for most saves in a career by a Monsters goalie with 3,835. He made 22 more saves on the night. Jet Greaves is the greatest goalie to ever suit up for the Monsters.

Although the Monsters lost last night's game, we got a little glimpse of the future with Dumais. Dumais is a curious case, and if he can stay healthy, could turn into a superstar at the pro level.
