Blue Jackets Injury Updates

Defenseman Zach Werenski went down last night after getting tangled up with the Devil's Ondrej Palat. It was obvious that it was a lower-body injury, as he couldn't put any weight on his left leg. He missed the rest of the game.

He was not on the ice for practice today either. Head Coach Pascal Vincent gave an update after practice on Werenski's injury. Vincent said Werenski is still being evaluated but will be treated as a week-to-week, rather than day-to-day. It's still unclear how much time he will miss.

Forward Jack Roslovic who broke his ankle back on November 13th is practicing again today and hopes to play in one of the upcoming weekend games for the Jackets. Vincent said he may play tomorrow against the Maple Leafs. He has missed 20 games.

Vincent also says that Center Sean Kuraly is not an option for tomorrow's game.

Next Up: Columbus is back home Friday to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs for the third time since December 14th.
