The St Louis Blues visit Nationwide Arena tonight to take on the hometown Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Columbus Blue Jackets welcome the St. Louis Blues into Nationwide Arena tonight. This is the first of two games between the teams in the next eight days.

The first thing that sticks out with the Blues is that they are a very good road team. So, a very good road team against a very good home team should make for an exciting game tonight.

The Blues come into this game winners of five of the last 10 games, and two straight. They also shut out the Ottawa Senators last night on home ice.

St. Louis only scores 2.69 goals per game, while the Jackets are sitting at 3.31, which is 8th in the league. The Blue Jackets are giving up a whopping 3.62 goals per game, which is the second-worst in the league. The Blue are giving up an even 3 per game.

The Blues are currently 6th in the Central, 11th in the West, and 19th in the NHL.

The Blue Jackets are 5th in the Metro, 10th in the East, and 21st in the NHL.
