The Columbus Blue Jackets are in Las Vegas to play the Golden Knights on Thursday. Tonight's game marks the last 10 PM EST game for Columbus.
The Blue Jackets haven't played a game since last Saturday night when they beat the LA Kings at home. This could be good, or it could be bad.
Vegas is a team that is rarely beaten at home and usually steamrolls teams at T-Mobile Arena, so the CBJ will have their work cut out for them, especially since Columbus is not usually good on the road. Vegas is 19-6-2 at home.
It's no secret that the VGK are very good. They're 2nd on the power play, 10th on the PK, and are 2nd in the fewest PIMs given up. They score a ton of goals and are currently 3rd in the league, while only giving up the 10th fewest amount of goals.
Columbus has their work cut out for them. The advantage for the Jackets, if there is one, is that the Knights have played two games already this week, while Columbus hasn't played since last Saturday. In theory, they should be rested and ready for the Vegas steamroll.
