Columbus Blue Jackets (55 pts) vs. Winnipeg Jets (89 pts) Game Preview

Sunday wraps up a quick three-game home stand for the Blue Jackets. They will then hit the road for five, including the next three that will see them face Detroit, Colorado, and Vegas. This week could be rough.

But first, they play the Winnipeg Jets tonight on Irish Broadway.

The Jets come into this game having alternated wins and losses for the last 7 games, winning their last game against the Ducks 6-0. Could this be the next loss?

Some people think Winnipeg is where they are in the standings because of the lengthy win streak they were on back in January and that they are not as good as people think, that's the perception anyway. They're 6-4-0 in their last 10 games and bring in a league-best goals against total, but have a bottom-third power play and penalty kill. The Jackets can score goals, but the Jets don't give up many. The Jackets have slayed some really good teams in the last weeks, can they do it again?

The Jets currently sit 3rd in the Central Division, 4th in the West, and 7th in the NHL.
