The Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Rangers play the third of four meetings on the season. This will also be the first of two games in six days between the two teams.

Columbus heads into Madison Square Garden and needs to have desperation mode engaged. With the Rangers OT loss on Saturday, the two teams are now tied with 68 points on the season. The Blue Jackets still hold the wild card 2 spot due to points percentage, but have a slew of teams hot on their heels.
