Chinakhov will report to Cleveland
Columbus activated Yegor Chinakhov off of IR and sent him to Cleveland, the team announced in a statement.
The 22-year-old has had a back strain and missed all 6 games. He has played in 92 career games and has 27 points.
Chinakhov is famous for being drafted 21st overall in the 2020 NHL Draft, and leaving studio analysts speechless. THN's own Ryan Kennedy had a famous tweet that simply read "I do not know who Yegor Chinakhov is."
Chinkakhov will join the Cleveland Monsters where he is expected to contribute in a big way.
