These two Blue Jackets have been ranked among the top goalie prospects in the league.

The Athletic's Scott Wheeler released his latest top 20 drafted NHL goalie prospect rankings, and two Columbus Blue Jackets made the cut: Pyotr Andreyanov and Sergei Ivanov.

Andreyanov was given the No. 5 spot in Wheeler's rankings. It is understandable, as the 2025 first-round pick has shown plenty of promise playing overseas in Russia. In 26 MHL games this season, he has a 13-8-3 record, a .919 save percentage, and a 2.59 goals-against average. He also has a .918 save percentage and a 2.13 goals-against average in 13 VHL games this season.

With numbers like these, there is no question that Andreyanov has a ton of potential and could become a big part of the Blue Jackets' roster later down the road.

As for Ivanov, he was given the No. 17 spot in Wheeler's rankings. The 2022 fifth-round pick has undoubtedly had a strong year in the KHL with SKA St. Petersburg. In 29 games this campaign, he has a 13-11-2 record, a .928 save percentage, a 2.50 goals-against average, and three shutouts. With stats like these, he is trending in the right direction and is a prospect that Blue Jackets fans should be watching.
