The teams will wear the helmet sticker from Opening night until October 24th.
NHL.com Senior Writer Dan Rosen has reported that the NHL will wear a helmet sticker to honor the Gaudreau Brothers.
Rosen says that all 32 teams will wear the stickers until October 24th.
The decal itself is very nice. It will have a "G" in the middle of a 13 and 21. Very modest, but very impactful, just like the Gaudreau Brothers themselves.
The Blue Jackets players will wear a special sticker on their helmets for the entire season as well. It'll be a blue sticker that says GAUDREAU, with two doves on it, and the numbers 13 and 21.
The Jackets will also wear a #13 patch on their jerseys this year too.
Opening night at Nationwide Arena is just 16 days away.
