Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger Is Entering A Big Season
During the off-season, the Blue Jackets re-signed Sillinger to a three-year, $13.875 million contract. Now, after landing this nice deal, there is no question that Sillinger is entering an important campaign.
Sillinger will be aiming to take another step forward for the Blue Jackets this season. With Sillinger still being only 23 years old, the possibility of him taking his game to another level should not be ruled out.
If Sillinger can produce a bit more offensively and continue to improve his all-around game, it would be great news for a Blue Jackets club that is looking to get back into the playoffs.
In 81 games last season for Columbus, Sillinger posted eight goals, 25 assists, 33 points, and 112 hits. This was after he had 11 goals, 33 points, and 74 hits in 66 games for the Blue Jackets in 2024-25.
