Damon Severson Looking To Build Off Solid Year
Severson had a solid 2025-26 season with the Blue Jackets, as he posted eight goals, 32 points, and a plus-18 rating in 71 games. This included him recording 15 points in his final 26 games of the season.
Overall, Severson put together the best season of his three-year stint with the Blue Jackets in 2025-26 and will now be looking to build off it this season. If he can have another season like he did last campaign for the Blue Jackets, he would certainly benefit them.
Severson will be a veteran defenseman who the Blue Jackets rely on during the 2026-27 season. He has shown that he can still make a positive impact when playing at his best, and it will be intriguing to see what kind of season he can put together from here.
