This Blue Jackets goalie got some praise due to his strong 2025-26 season.

The Columbus Blue Jackets' turnaround has been a great story in the NHL this season. Goaltender Jet Greaves is certainly one of the reasons for it, as the 24-year-old is having a strong 2025-26 campaign for the Metropolitan Division club.

Due to this, Greaves has now landed some big-time praise.

In a recent article for The Athletic, Jesse Granger ranked the NHL's five most consistent goalies so far during the 2025-26 season. Greaves made the cut, as he was given the No. 3 spot by Granger.

"In his first full season in the NHL, Jet Greaves has given the Columbus Blue Jackets the best goaltending they’ve seen since Sergei Bobrovsky was winning the Vezina," Granger wrote.

When looking at how well Greaves has played this season, it is entirely understandable that he has been ranked among the NHL's most consistent goalies. The Cambridge, Ontario native has a 23-12-8 record, a .909 save percentage, a 2.61 goals-against average, and two shutouts. With numbers like these, there is no question that he has been making a significant impact for the Blue Jackets as they look to get into the playoffs.

The Blue Jackets will now be hoping that Greaves can continue to shine for them during the final stretch of the regular season. In four out of his last six appearances, he has had a .913 save percentage or better.
