The Jackets are 1-1 on the young season, but the differences between games 1 and 2 are night and day. The CBJ played a decent game against the Rangers on Saturday night and came away with the win, but they need to replicate that and play with the pace and intensity that Pascal Vincent demands.

- Based on Sundays practice, held in front of fans on Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day, Liam Foudy and Mathieu Olivier should be scratched, as both were wearing the green "extras" jerseys.
- The potential scratches of Foudy and Olivier mean Emil Bemstrom and Jack Roslovic could be back in the lineup on Monday.
- Eric Robinson cleared waivers on Sunday, and the Jackets have assigned him to Cleveland of the AHL.
