The Columbus Blue Jackets blew a late lead to the Anaheim Ducks by giving up a late 6-5 goal, and then lost it in overtime by a score of 4-3.

Kirill Marchenko(11), Cole Sillinger(5), and James van Riemsdyk(4) scored the goals for Columbus, and Jet Greaves made 23 saves, but it just wasn't enough to beat the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.

For the second straight game, Jet Greaves did enough to win this game, but the untimely goals given up were a bit too much for the struggling CBJ.

With the Jackets up 3-2, and the Anaheim net empty, Jackson LaCombe scored within seconds of taking a faceoff to tie the game at three on a 6-5. From that point on, the 17,663 in attendance held their breath, waiting for something bad to happen.

That something bad happened in overtime. Alex Killorn took a puck lost by the Jackets and streaked towards Greaves on a breakaway, with Ivan Provorov chasing him down. Killorn would score his second goal of the night to send the Ducks back to Anaheim with two points. This is the Jackets' second game in a row that they've lost in overtime.

Columbus is 12-13-5 and has 29 points. Despite all the losing, they're still just two points back of 5th, and three points shy of 4th in the Metro.
