The Jackets haven't won the second half of a back-to-back all season, and that trend looked to continue last night midway through the third period. But then they found themselves to win 3-2 in overtime.

Kirill Marchenko(21), Kent Johnson(15), and Zach Werenski(17) scored the goals for Columbus, all coming in the third period and overtime. Daniil Tarasov kept the Jackets in the game until the CBJ could find themselves and put some pucks behind Utah goalie Karel Vejmelka, who also played very well. Daniil Tarasov picked up his 5th win of the season

The Columbus Blue Jackets looked tired, sloppy, and worn out last night against the Utah Hockey Club, and then they woke up with just over 13 minutes left in the game.

Kirill Marchenko and Kent Johnson scored five minutes apart in the third to spark the Jackets' comeback and tie the game. At that point, the Jackets clamped down just enough to keep Utah from gaining momentum and send the game to overtime.

Zach Werenski had a beautiful steal in the Utah O-Zone. He shot back down the ice with Cole Sillinger, where they would trade passes until Werenski was able to finish it off by putting in his 17th goal of the season and sending the CBJ to Dallas on a two-game road winning streak. They've also won three of four on the road.
