The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Sean Monahan on Injured Reserve today and recalled forward Owen Sillinger from the Cleveland Monsters.

Monahan was injured against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. He has a wrist injury. Monahan has 41 points in 41 games this season.

This is a huge blow for both Monahan and the CBJ. Monahan was on pace to have one of the best years of his career. There is no timetable for his return.

Owen Sillinger, brother of CBJ forward Cole, has 25 points in 34 games for Cleveland
