Luca Pinelli is staying with the Ottawa 67's
The OHL Trade Deadline has come and gone, and Columbus Blue Jackets' top prospect wasn't dealt.
That's right, after all the speculation around the OHL, Luca Pinelli is staying with the Ottawa 67's.
It has been reported, and confirmed by industry sources that the 67's weren't getting offered enough to move him. Another source confirmed that Pinelli chose to invoked his no-trade clause.
Regardless, Pinelli will finish off the year with Ottawa, who currently sits in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
Pinelli, 19, has 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points in 26 games. He also represented Canada at the 2025 World Junior tournament.
What's Next - Columbus goes to St. Louis to play the Blues on Saturday night.
