With the NHL Draft just a few days away and the start of free agency a week away, the NHL's silly season is in full swing, and the Blue Jackets look to be involved at some point.

One of the rumors that have been floated around in the last couple days is that the New York Rangers are looking to move defenseman K'Andre Miller.

The former 2018 first round pick by New York is a big guy, standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 210lbs. Miller has scored 36 goals and totaled 132 points in 368 games with the Rangers.

Larry Brooks of The New York Post has suggested that the CBJ could be interested in Miller, and that hulking forward Dmitri Voronkov could be involved in any package to acquire Miller.

Would Don Waddell trade Voronkov for Miller? Miller is a left-shot defenseman, and the Jackets really don't need another one. Their need is at RD, so this wouldn't make a lot of sense for the Jackets. Waddell would be wise to look at everything that comes across his desk, but I'm not sure he'd consider this one.

I also think a package involving Voronkov for Miller would be too much. If Waddell is interested in trading Voronkov, surely he could get a better return?

Would you be interested in this deal?
