The Blue Jackets got some very good news over the last week when Captain Boone Jenner, Kirill Marchenko, and Dante Fabbro were able to return to the lineup.
But just as players come back, players get hurt.
In the February 27th game against the Detroit Red Wings, Cole Sillinger would take a hit that would force him from the game. It's listed as an upper-body injury at this time. He left early in the first and did not return. The injury also forced him to miss the Stadium Series Game this past Saturday.
The Blue Jackets seemed to have escaped any injuries during Saturday's win against Detroit at the Horseshoe. As of Monday, everyone was practicing who played.
Yegor Chinakhov also practiced on Monday, which is a very good sign. Not only did he practice, but he practiced on the second line with Jenner and Johnson - A sign that his return could be soon.
Erik Gudbranson is also skating more and more and looks to come back sometime this month.
