Tonight, the Montreal Canadiens have to lose in regulation to the Carolina Hurricanes for the Blue Jackets to have a chance to make the playoffs. But that road might be a little harder tonight.

The Carolina Hurricanes are set to rest several key players against the Habs, which includes their top two point getters, and one of their best defenseman.

This is obviously bad news for the Blue Jackets. The good news is that the Canes will have  Pyotr Kochetkov or  Frederik Andersen in the net, which will give them a chance.

As a reminder, the Canadiens need to lose in regulation for the Jackets game on Thursday to matter. If they get a single point, the CBJ will be eliminated.

Everyone in Columbus will be giant Caniacs tonight.
