Last night, Cayden Lindstrom's Medicine Hat Tigers won the Western Hockey League Championship.
But there could be bad news too.
Team reporter James Tubb put out a series of posts about Lindstrom that could be concerning.
Tubb confirmed to THN Columbus that Lindstrom didn't play another shift after coming out of the game in the first period, and could not confirm what the injury was.
Lindstrom was celebrating and seen in pictures after the game, however. So, that could be good news.
Maybe his exit was precautionary? He did miss some time in this series due to injury as well. Many fans are afraid it's his back, and we won't speculate as to what it is.
The Tigers will go on to play in the 2025 Memorial Cup, in which they'll be joined by the Rimouski Oceanic, London Knights, and Moncton Wildcats.
