The young right winger stays with Columbus for two more years

The Blue Jackets have announced they’ve signed RFA Trey Fix-Wolansky. The 24-year-old RW from Edmonton has played in 15 career NHL games, scoring 2 goals and 3 points. The deal will be a two-year, two-way deal through the 2024-25 season.

Fix-Wolansky has played in 166 career AHL games for the Cleveland Monsters, scoring 60 goals and 139 points.

Fix-Wolanky is stout. Standing at 5-foot-7 and weighing in at 191 pounds, he’s tough to knock off the puck. He’s as strong as they come.

Extending Fix-Wolansky was a no-brainer. He adds depth to both Cleveland and Columbus. Cleveland fans should be happy about this one.
