The Cleveland Monsters have signed forward Roman Ahcan for the rest of the 2024-25 season per a club announcement.
Ahcan has played 155 games for the Monsters since the 21-22 season. In those games, he's scored 27 goals and totaled 51 points.
This season Ahcan is off to a hot start. In nine games, he's scored 7 goals and has 8 points. Ahcan is tied for second on the team with Luca Del Bel Belluz and Denton Mateychuk. He leads the team with his 7 goals.
The Savage, Minnesota native will now look to help his team to the Calder Cup Playoffs. With having a contract for the rest of the year, hopefully, that stress can be pushed aside and he can hit the 56-goal pace he's currently on.
What's Next - The Blue Jackets have a few days off as they trek to Southern California to take on the LA Kings on Saturday.
