Columbus Announces Roster For Upcoming Prospects Challenge In Buffalo

The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced the roster for the Prospects Challenge being held at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo. The tournament will take place September 13-16. 

The team will be coached by Monsters head coach Trent Vogelhuber. 

Some names of note are defensemen Denton Mateychuk and Corson Ceulemans, as well as forwards Gavin Brindley, Luca Pinelli, Tyler Peddle, Luca Del Bel Belluz, and James Malatesta.

Some names that are missing are defensemen David Jiříček and Stanislav Svozil. A total of 10 players participated in the 2023 Prospects Tournament in Traverse City. 

The Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, and Pittsburgh Penguins will also attend. 

In years past the games have been streamed on the Blue Jackets website for all to watch. 

The tournament will conclude on Monday the 16th against the Ottawa Senators.
