The Columbus Blue Jackets are in Montréal tonight to take on the Canadiens for the first time this season.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are in Montréal tonight and will try to win back-to-back games for the second time this season.

The Montréal Canadiens come into this game in a major slump. They've lost 7 of 8 and dropped six straight before getting a win this past Monday.

Despite having Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki, they aren't scoring a lot of goals, and sit just 23rd in the league in goals scored. They have only one player with double-digit goals scored. It's definitely a one-man show when it comes to scoring goals. Compare that to the Jackets who are a tad more balanced in terms of scoring and have no players with 10 goals or more. The Canadiens have six regulars without a goal, while the Jackets only have two regulars who haven't scored a score.

As expected, the Habs power play is really good at 9th in the league. In fact, half of Caufield's goals have come on the power play. Mike Matheson has 10 points on the season, and six of them are power-play points. The Jackets PK is now at 13th in the league after moving up a spot by stopping 4 of 5 Penguins power plays on Friday night.

The Montréal Canadiens are currently 8th in the Atlantic, 16th in the East, and 32nd in the NHL.
