The Columbus Blue Jackets are in Tampa to play the Lightning at Amalie Arena tonight

The Columbus Blue Jackets Outlook and Success

The Blue Jackets are in Tampa tonight to play the Lightning at Amalie Arena.

Columbus will again have to play a hot team. Tampa comes into this game 6-4 in their last 10, but have won four of five. In those five games, they're averaging 4.4 points a game, while only giving up 1.8 per game. They've also scored 8 goals twice in those five games. Yeah, they're really good right now.

The Lightning also boasts the 3rd ranked power play, 15th penalty kill, and doesn't give up many goals at 2.89 per game. Their 4.0 goals per game is #1 in the NHL.

The Jackets are desperate for a bounce-back game, but this one is going to be tough.

Tampa Bay is currently 4th in the Atlantic, 7th in the East, and 16th in the NHL.
