The Blue Jackets enter their 25th anniversary season and there is a ton of hype surrounding the team after how well they did last season. The best overall team record came back in 2016-17, when the team finished 50-24-8 for 108 points. That record got them a third-place finish in their division. However, in the playoffs, they lost in the first round to the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games.
