Jenner nears return, but Olivier and Gudbranson remain sidelined. Marchenko and Monahan bolster the lineup as young Luca's step up.

Welcome back to another edition of the Columbus Blue Jackets injury report.

The Blue Jackets have struggled with injuries a lot this season. Unfortunately, they are without their captain Boone Jenner, as well as Erik Gudbranson and fan favourite Mathieu Olivier.

Jenner could return as early as this week. However, Olivier and Gudbranson are out without any word on a timeline for a return.

The good news is they got Kirill Marchenko and Sean Monahan back in their lineup, which has been a great boost to their team. That said, in the meantime both Luca Pinelli and Luca Del Bel Belluz stepped in and did well to cover for the injured players.

Injuries

  • Erik Gudbranson - Upper Body - Missed 20 Games - IR - No timeline for a return
  • Boone Jenner - Upper Body - Missed 12 Games - IR - Could return this week
  • Mathieu Olivier - Upper Body - Missed 5 Games - IR- No timeline for a return

TOTAL MAN GAMES LOST: 53

Up Next: The Jackets travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, to take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
