Tonight is the first of four preseason games for the Blue Jackets, and the first of two home games. The Jackets will put out a lineup with some scoring punch. Yes, it's only preseason game #1, but they have to start fast.
This game will feature a very prospect-heavy lineup by the Blue Jackets, so keep your expectations tempered. With camp being much shorter, the coaching staff will use these games as a final look. But remember what Bowness said: most guys won't be getting a good look because they just don't have time.
