Despite the injuries, the Jackets must start the season. There wasn't much Don Waddell could do so late in the off-season. They signed Kevin Labanc and plucked Zach Aston-Reese off of the waiver wire to get some players on the ice.
The CBJ will tee off against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 8 PM.
