After losing a few major pieces, Columbus will send out a roster featuring a few minor leaguers.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have finalized the 2024-25 opening night roster.
After losing Boone Jenner, Dmitri Voronkov, and Gavin Brindley to the IR list, the Jackets had to make some tough decisions.
James Malatesta has also been loaned to the Cleveland Monsters.

Despite the injuries, the Jackets must start the season. There wasn't much Don Waddell could do so late in the off-season. They signed Kevin Labanc and plucked Zach Aston-Reese off of the waiver wire to get some players on the ice.
The CBJ will tee off against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 8 PM.
