Columbus Offense Explodes, Jet Greaves Dazzles As Blue Jackets Hammer Flyers

Jet Greaves played a marvelous game to shut down the Philadelphia Flyers. He made some big saves in Saturday's game to keep the Jackets in front of the Flyers, but this night's story would be the Blue Jackets' offensive explosion.

Thirteen different players registered points against Philadelphia.

The defense for the Jackets would score every goal in this game, led by Damon Severson's two goals, Zach Werenski's two, and one each from Erik Gudbranson and Nick Blankenburg. Ivan Provorov and David Jiricek weren't able to get in on the action, but Jiricek did record an assist. The Blue Jackets defense has recorded 27 points in the last 9 games, and 176 points in 77 games this season.

The tweet below from Blue Jackets PR can explain what kind of historic moment this was for the team.
