Columbus sends Andrew Peeke to Boston

The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded defenseman Andrew Peeke to the Boston Bruins for Jakub Zbořil and a 3rd round pick in 2027. Peeke had played in 218 games as a Blue Jacket totaling 42 points. This season Peeke has played in 23 games and has 8 points. 

Jakub Zbořil is a former 13th overall pick from the 2015 draft. Zbořil has played in 76 career NHL games and has totaled 16 points. 

This is a move that the Jackets have been wanting to make all season and it's finally done. Per Chris Johnson of The Athletic, the Jackets are not retaining any salary in this deal.
