The team will play its first preseason game tomorrow at Buffalo
The Blue Jackets have announced that they have trimmed the roster just one day before their first preseason game.
Nolan Lalonde has been sent back to the Kingston Frontenacs and they also returned defenseman Luca Marrelli to the Oshawa Generals.
They also announced the release of forward Pano Fimis and goalie Jacob Oster from their amateur tryout contracts.
Fans were impressed with Fimis and hoped he would get a contract after his prospect tournament and camp showing.
The roster now stands at 51 players.
