Fantilli - "I'm really starting to call the city home"
Adam Fantilli is the hot rookie in Columbus. We've seen and heard him on podcasts, YouTube Channels, and even car commercials, so it was no surprise when he appeared on Morning Juice this morning.
Fantilli was asked how life in the NHL was going so far, he responded "It's been great, I've been having a blast ever since I got to Columbus. I'm really starting to call the city home, It's been a lot of fun."
Bobby Carpenter asked him about "the rookie wall" and how he has avoided it so far in his young career. Fantilli said that he talked to Cole Sillinger and Kent Johnson about it and they told him "We both got hot in the second half and were able to put up the majority of our points in the second half. Keep your head down, keep working, and try to continue to better your game as the season goes on. Dont even think anything regarding a rookie wall."
He goes on to talk about getting more comfortable playing in the NHL, with his teammates and building chemistry with his guys, and having consistent lines.
You can listen to the full interview below. Adam Fantilli is always a great interview.
