Former Blue Jacket Matt Duchene Struggling In The Western Conference Finals

Matt Duchene only played 23 regular season games for the Columbus Blue Jackets, but people have loved to check in on the forward since he left Central Ohio.

Duchene has played in 17 games this postseason and has only 6 points. Before the Edmonton series, he had 6 points in 12 games. Not bad before the Oilers series, but they need him to do more. Duchene had 65 points in the regular season after all, so they expected more I'm sure.

But this Edmonton series has been rough for Duchene. In five games, he has exactly zero points. He's been virtually invisible.

In the series which sees Edmonton leading 3-2, Duchene's stats are as follows: 0 pts, -3, 7 shots, 2 PIM.

Edmonton has the Stars on the ropes, and it seems Dallas has run out of steam. They're top-heavy in terms of their scorers as they only have five players with points in double figures. Matt Duchene isn't the only Star struggling in the series at least.

Duchene will get at least one more game to try to get on the score sheet this Sunday when Dallas will try to avoid elimination.
