The Metropolitan Division just keeps getting wackier.
Former CBJ forward Pierre-Luc Dubois has been traded to the Washington Capitals today, ending his run in LA after just one season. He had 40 points in 82 games last season, and one point in 5 playoff games.
According to LeBrun, no salary will be retained in the deal that sends Darcy Keumper to LA. Dubois’s no-move clause was set to kick in on July 1, so Dubois had no say in this trade.
Earlier today, the New Jersey Devils traded for goalie Jacob Markström as well. The Metro division meat grinder is always churning.
Dubois coming into Nationwide Arena multiple times a season should get the crowd nice and fired up.
