RJ Umberger appeared on the Nasty Knuckles Podcast yesterday and caught them up on what he’s been doing lately and told some stories about his time in Columbus and Philly.
In 2008 Umberger was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he would score 20+ goals for four seasons in a row under Ken Hitchcock. He described Columbus as a “great change of scenery” for him. He said he was very excited about the team and being a big part of the team. Umberger also says he loved being back in Columbus, as he went to Ohio State to play hockey.
Umberger also speaks on the week that they’ve had recently and says the whole situation is disappointing. You can tell he still loves the City of Columbus and the franchise.
