Former Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jack Roslovic is still looking for a new place to call home.
Roslovic could be considered the best free agent forward still available and is still waiting for a team to come calling. There has been some speculation over the last few days that the Toronto Maple Leafs are a team that could be inquiring about signing him.
This rumour came directly from the top NHL insider in the league, Elliotte Friedman, on his 32 Thoughts the Podcast.
However, there could be more teams linked to him. Friedman also mentioned that the Washington Capitals could be interested in him. Additionally, according to Chris Johnston, the Colorado Avalanche are another team that could be looking at adding him.
Roslovic is coming off a season where he played with Carolina Hurricanes and scored 22 goals and 17 assists for 39 points in 81 games. If he's the best free agent forward still on the board, it wouldn't be surprising to see him get signed soon. As of right now, we've seen a small lull in off-season moves around the entire league. But once things start to pick back up, Roslovic will likely be one of the first players to sign.
