Former Columbus Forward To Sign Deal With Carolina Hurricanes

Per David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, former CBJ forward Eric Robinson will sign a one-year deal with the Metro Division rival Carolina Hurricanes. 

Robinson played in 266 games for the Blue Jackets before being traded last season to the Buffalo Sabres. He scored 38 goals and had 82 points for the CBJ in his 7-year career in Columbus. 

Former GM Jarmo Kekäläinen signed Robinson out of Princeton University as an undrafted free agent. His senior season at Princeton, he was named Captain and had 31 points in 36 games.

The Hurricanes are getting a speedster.
