Former Monsters forward Rocco Grimaldi is rumored to be joining SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL.

Grimaldi played for the Monsters last season, and had a really good year. Playing in 66 games, he scored 17 goals and totaled 58 points. He has 428 career AHL points in 499 games. He was signed to a one-year deal with Cleveland.

Although there is no official word yet, should Grimaldi sign with SKA St. Petersburg, he would be joining Blue Jackets goalie prospect Sergei Ivanov.
