The Blue Jackets travel to Buffalo today to take on the Sabres at 3 p.m.
The Jackets will be sending an NHL-heavy lineup with players including Patrik Laine, Kirill Marchenko, Zach Werenski, and the preseason debut of newly acquired Ivan Provorov. In net will be Elvis Merzlikins and Aaron Dell.
The Jackets are coming off a loss to St. Louis on Tuesday night, while the Buffalo Sabres, who have played four games since last Sunday, including three nights in a row, are coming off back-to-back losses to the Maple Leafs and Penguins. Next week, the CBJ will play four games in five days.
Devon Levi will start for the Sabres and is expected to play the entire game.on
