Columbus has recalled James Malatesta from the Cleveland Monsters today. 

Malatesta has played in 25 games this year for Cleveland and has 12 points and 25 PIM. 

Malatesta played 11 games for the Blue Jackets last season, scoring 2 goals and totaling 12 points. 

Malatesta adds grit and a scoring touch to the Jackets lineup. You have to wonder why they decided to bring up him, instead of another Monster forward. 

What's Next - The Blue Jackets return home on Thursday to play the New Jersey Devils.
