
Zach Werenski (10) scored the only goal for Columbus in a 2-1 OT loss. Jet Greaves, getting the callup yesterday from Cleveland got the start for the CBJ and played very well. Greaves stopped 35 of 37 shots on the night.

He made the best of it; it's just too bad the CBJ's offense couldn't muster any more goal support. Washington controlled play for much of the first two periods, that was until the Jackets finally scored on one of the three power plays the Caps gave the Jackets in that second period. Zach Werenski put the Jackets on top with his 10th goal of the season, a power play goal. With that goal, Zach Werenski now has 100 for his young career. That goal also makes him the highest goal-scoring defenseman in the NHL at this time.
The Capitals quickly answered back just 31 seconds into the third period on an Aliaksei Protas goal to make it 1-1. The third would end in a 1-1 regulation tie.
