Johnny Gaudreau and Zach Werenski Help Lead Team USA To Victory Over France

Johnny Gaudreau scored a goal and had an assist, and Zach Werenski had an assist in a 5-0 USA win over France on Thursday.

Zach Werenski assisted on Gaudreau's goal in the first period, and Gaudreau assisted on one of Matt Boldy's goals in the first as well.

Gaudreau, who continues to pace the Americans, was a +4 on the day. Werenski was a +2 and led Team USA in minutes played. 

Young Gavin Brindley made his tournament debut against the French but didn't factor on the score sheet.

The Americans completely shut down the French team, outshooting them 54-10. 

Team USA plays Poland tomorrow, who are winless in the tournament.
