Led By Former Blue Jacket Spencer Martin, The Hurricanes Take Down Columbus

Teuvo Teravainen, Sebastian Aho, Brady Skjei, and Seth Jarvis scored for Carolina, while Cole Sillinger(10) and Alex Nylander(1) scored for the Blue Jackets in the loss. 

The Blue Jackets made a late push down one goal with Daniil Tarasov pulled for the extra attacker, but could only muster two shots on Martin. Jarvis would eventually score the empty netter with 15 seconds left to seal it. 

New Jacket Alex Nylander scored his first goal of the season and added an assist. It would be his first multi-point game since Mar. 11, 2020, when he played for the Chicago Blackhawks. 

Daniil Tarasov stopped 28 of 31 Hurricane shots.
