The Columbus Blue Jackets are already in a tough division, and the way this year has started, it's going to get even tougher.

There was big news dropped by several NHL Insiders this morning that will no doubt plung the Metro into an even deeper abyss.

Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck will be apparently be acquired by the New Jersey Devils in what is said to be a three team trade.

Hellebucyk, 33, is in the third season of a seven-year, $8.5 million AAV contract he signed with the Jets.

The Jets get back Dawson Mercer, Alexander Command, Nick Bjugstad, Nico Daws, and two draft picks.

This won't be easy for the Blue Jackets to navigate, but then again, it never has been.
