The Jets, powered by a Nikolaj Ehlers hat trick bet the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-2 on Friday night.

The Columbus Blue Jackets Outlook and Success

Sean Kuraly scored his first goal of the season and Sean Monahan scored his team-leading 6th goal of the year in a 6-2 blowout loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night at Nationwide Arena. Elvis Merzļikins stopped 38 of 44 Jets shots in the loss. 

Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers 5th, 6th, and 7th goals in the game to record a hat trick. He also had an assist and was a plus-3. The Jets punished the Jackets all night long in all phases of the game. 

There weren't many positives to take from this game besides the fact that Dmitri Voronkov made his season debut. He played 13:24 and had a single shot on goal. He was also a minus-3 on the night. 

The team now will quickly have to move on and move past this game, as they are in Washington later today to play the Caps.
